POLAND - Prayers will begin on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Family Church for Mark L. Rajkovich, 55, who died suddenly, Wednesday morning, at Salem Community Hospital.
Mark was born in Youngstown on Aug. 14, 1959, the son of Martin and Betty (Veneri) Rajkovich.
He was a 1977 graduate of Boardman High School. After graduation, Mark began working for Tech-Ni-Tool as a machinist, and was most recently employed by Columbus-McKinnon of Salem, also as a machinist.
He was a member of the Holy Family Church, and the Lisbon Eagles Post No. 2216.
Mark loved being with his family on family vacations to Myrtle Beach. He also loved boating on Berlin Lake, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, golfing and was an avid dog lover.
Mark leaves behind his loving wife, the former Jolene Silvers, whom he married on May 1, 1998.
He is also survived by his son, Weston of Boardman; his sister, Kimberly (Mark) Telford of Poland; and two nephews, Nick (Stephanie) Bartolone and Steve (Heather) Bartolone, both of Columbus.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sebrina Nicholson; and a brother, Nicholas Rajkovich.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
