YOUNGSTOWN - Prayers will begin Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Church for Martha Ann Romeo, 77, who died suddenly Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth ER in Boardman.
Martha was born Nov. 11, 1935, in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph P. and Mary T. Melesky Marszewski.
She had worked at the Youngstown Firefighters Credit Union for 16 years, before retiring in May of 1990. She was a member of St. Christine Church.
She is survived by her husband, Patsy Romeo, whom she married April 16, 1955; two daughters, Cynthia Kasek and Debra Romeo of Youngstown; three sons, Joseph Angel Romeo of Boardman, James Judiann Romeo of Struthers and Patrick Rochelle Romeo of Boardman; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vera Cass Draus of Dearborn, Mich.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
