AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Martha Stayer, 67, who passed away Sunday at her home.
Martha was born July 7, 1950, in Warren, a daughter of the late Herbert and Dorinda (Barrickman) McBride.
Martha was a 1968 graduate of Warren G. Harding and completed programs at Lanier Learning Center and Entre Computer Center.
Over the years, Martha was a paralegal for numerous lawyers and companies in the area. She loved reading and shopping.
Martha leaves her husband, Gary Stayer, whom she married July 28, 1997; her children, William "Bill" (Michelle) Grombacher Jr. and their children, Alicia Marie, Karalynn, and Samantha Renee, Ed (Christina) Davis Jr. and their daughter, Alexis, Gary Stayer Jr. and his children, Hannah and Abby; and Cynthia Stayer, and her daughter, Ashlynn; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Lukas; her brother, Thomas (Denise) McBride of Nashville, Tenn.; and brother-in-law Brad (Sue) Stayer of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to the family.
