Martin Bowman

BOARDMAN - Prayers will begin Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church for Martin J. "Marty" Bowman, 56, who died Friday, unexpectedly at his home.
Marty was born June 2, 1957, in Youngstown, the son of Harry B. and Genevieve (Cappy) Bowman.
He was a 1975 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, enjoyed playing cribbage, was a member of the Boardman Cribbage Club and was a member and volunteer of the Mahoning County Epilepsy Organization.
Marty is survived by two sisters, Patricia M. Sullivan of Canfield and Kathleen "Cookie" Bowman of Boardman; seven nieces and nephews, Susan, Stephen, John, Laura, Christine, Michelle and Carrie; several great-nieces and nephews; and his extended family at Scarsella Restaurant.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Bowman; and a brother, Harry Michael Bowman.
