YOUNGSTOWN - Services will be Monday at 11:30 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church for Mary Ann "Jake" Allegretto age 69 who passed away early Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center.
Mary Ann who was also known as "Jake" was born June 13, 1937, in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Katherine MacVitch Jacobs.
She was a 1955 graduate of East High School where she was captain of the cheer leading squad. She later worked at Mahoning National Bank for over 30 years retiring as a head teller in 1999. She was a member of St. Luke Church.
She is survived by her husband Frank "Cheech" Allegretto whom she married September 12, 1959, a daughter Pamela S. Allegretto, a son Michael V. and his wife Tessa Allegretto of Boardman, and four grandchildren, Anthony and Mandy Rosati, and Alyvia and Giana Allegretto.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother William Jacobs.
Friends may call from 9 AM to 11:15 AM Monday morning at St. Luke Church.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to either the American Cancer Society of Hospice of the Valley in Mary Ann's memory.
Arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
