Youngstown- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 PM Monday in St. Christine Church, Youngstown for Mary L. Barabas, age 81, of Youngstown, who died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boardman Campus.
Mary was born February 14, 1927 in Youngstown to the late John and Julia Mesicko.
She was a graduate of East High School, and an active member of St. Christine Church.
Besides her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Lyden, Jr. who died in 1974. A brother, John Mesicko, and a sister Margaret Simcox are also deceased.
Mary is survived by her husband, Cyril Barabas whom she married in September 1984; A daughter Maureen Porter of Charleston, SC; two sons, Michael Bonnie Lyden, III of Erie, PA, and Kevin Terri Lyden of Akron. A brother Paul Mesicko of Solon; Three step sons, Tom, Mark, and Allan Barabas; and Eleven Grandchildren.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery
Friends may call Today Sunday from 5-8PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Friends may also call one hour prior to Mass 12-1PM at the church Monday.
