Poland - Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 5 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Mary Elizabeth Brincko, 58, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning at Hospice House.
She was born in Akron Ohio to Grier and Josephine (Leone) Nave on November 17, 1956.
She attended Buchtel H.S. where she studied horticulture and played basketball. Being born to deaf parents she became very active with the Akron Deaf Club including playing softball for many years. She moved to Youngstown in 1984 to raise her family. Throughout her life she worked as a baker, a hairdresser and auto worker for General Motors. Her proudest moments were watching her four girls and raising them to be strong women. She enjoyed traveling especially to Florida to visit two of her girls that settled there. She spent much of her time at drag races with her loving husband Ron. She enjoyed boating, camping and bike riding with him in the summers but looked forward to decorating for her favorite holiday, Christmas. She loved old movies and watching Cleveland sports teams as well as attending live concerts.
Her memory lives on with her husband Ron, daughters Deena (Nathan) Snipes and Jesi Crane of Florida, Tiffany Crane of Youngstown, grand-daughters Lauren and Christine Newton of Florida and Lindsie Newton of Indiana, great-grandson Nyjah, sister Nancy Baker (Nave), brother Roy Nave (Mon), nephew Evan Nave, special aunt and best friend Ginger (Steve) Kubala and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and amazing friends especially Theresa Tanferno and her kitty Annie.
