AUSTINTOWN- Mary M. "Mimi" Donelson, 87, passed away peacefully Friday morning at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center.
She was born November in Columbus, the daughter of Andrew and Susanna Tira Mondrut.
Mrs. Donelson is survived by her husband of 46 years, John U. "Jack" Donelson of Austintown.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eva Witt; and her brothers, George, Charles and Nicholas Mondrut.
Although she had no children, she was a mother to many of her nieces and nephews who are scattered across the country.
Per her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours, but there will be a private family memorial scheduled.
Mimi was well known for her love of nature, especially birds and other wildlife.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the World Wildlife Fund or other wildlife charity in her memory.
