GIRARD There will be services Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, for Mary Catherine Fire, 46, who passed away Tuesday afternoon at her home.
Mary Catherine was born Dec. 12, 1959 in Youngstown, the daughter of John J. and Alice Wilson Fire.
She was a 1977 graduate of Chaney High School and had worked in housekeeping for various businesses in the area.
She is survived by her father, John J. Fire of Youngstown; a sister, Patty Fire and her fiance Shawn Dyke of Girard; three brothers, John and his wife
Janet Fire of Austintown, Danny and his wife Susan Fire of Leetonia and Edward R. Fire of Youngstown; nieces and nephews, Eddie and his wife Sophia Fire, Andy Fire, Carl Fire, Donny Shepherd, Amanda, Christine and Greg Fire; and a great-niece, Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Fire.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the charity of the donor¹s choice in Mary Catherine¹s memory.
Arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
