AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Mary Jane Gearhart, 71, who passed away at her home.
Mary Jane was born Nov. 2, 1945, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Davis) Gearhart.
Mary Jane was a 1963 graduate of Canfield High School and was an active member of the Youngstown Baptist Church. She previously worked as a paralegal for Breckenridge, Haynes & McCroom.
Mary Jane loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Mary Jane leaves her two daughters, Heather Rae Taylor of Austintown and Stephanie Marie Gearhart of Boardman; three grandchildren, Jared, Caleb and Braeden Gearhart; and two sisters, Gail Owens of Canfield and Liz Ray of Austintown.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by two sisters, Deanna White and E. Cate Mesmer; and three brothers, Joseph, Norman, and Raymond Gearhart.
Family and friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Material tributes may take the form of donations to Youngstown Baptist Church, 4301 New Road, Austintown, OH 44515.
