BOARDMAN The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Charles Church for Mrs. Mary Frances O'Neill, 83, who was born in Youngstown on July 15, 1925.
She was the daughter of Paul V. and Mathilda Morrison Rodgers.
Mary was a 1942 graduate of Ursuline High School and was employed as a private secretary at IBM Corporation until June of 1948.
Mary Frances was a homemaker, a member of the church its Ladies Guild, the Junior Seton Circle Club and the former Garden Club of the Little Flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John J. O¹Neill Sr., whom she married July 17, 1948; four children, Patricia Arthur Stackpole of Austintown, Pamela O¹Neill of Boardman, John J. Janice O¹Neill of Boardman
and Michael P. Diane O'Neill, Jr. of Foley, Ala.; a sister, Patricia Edwards of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, Michael, John and Todd Spencer, Sean, Kent and Katie O¹Neill, Michelle Canavan Testa, Jennifer Canavan McKim, Jamie, Heather and Heidi O¹Neill; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul V. Rodgers Jr ; and a brother-in-law, John G. Edwards.
Friends may call Wednesday from noon until the time of service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Charles Building Fund in Mary
Frances Memory.
Arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home.
