AUSTINTOWN - Mary L. Puchnick, 90, passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2022, at Humility House.
She was born Sept. 26, 1931, in Carbondale, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella Grecco Amato.
Mary was a 1949 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She enjoyed music, traveling with her husband and going out to dinner on the weekends.
Mary is survived by her husband, John A. Puchnick, whom she married May 17, 1958; a daughter, Maryann (Gina Deola) Puchnick of New Mexico; a grandson, Sivan Myers of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Frances Grecco of Forest City, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, John J. Puchnick; two brothers, Ralph and James Grecco; and five sisters, Ida, Josephine, Carmelita, Stella and Margaret.
Private family services were held at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or the Parkinson's Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
