NEW MIDDLETON - Funeral services will be held Sunday, at 4 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Mary E. Leone Reigle, 67, who passed away Monday evening at Masternick Memorial.
Mary was born March 3, 1949, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Clara DeCola Leone.
She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and formerly worked at downtown's McKelvey and Weatherbee Coats in Youngstown. Mary enjoyed driving to the Warren main McDonald's, where she met many hearing and deaf friends. Although born deaf, she had great rhythm for music and dance. She loved all animals and had a collection of teddy bears and kittens.
Mary is survived by her two sisters, Gloria (Frank) Wielbruda of Girard and Ginger (Steve) Kubala of Poland; two brothers, Tom "Bones" Leone of Poland and Pastor Jim "Squirt" (Georgia) Leone of Boardman; lifelong friend, Darlene Mitchell of Florida; special friends, Laurie Ross of Warren and Amy Bushardt of Volant, Pa.; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-greatnieces and great-great nephews; two great-great-great nephews; a son; and two grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Leone Nave; brother-in-law Grier Nave; special niece Mary E. Brincko; and a great-niece, Sunny Crane.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
