Boardman - Services will be held 9:45AM Monday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel and at 10:00AM at St. Dominc Church, Youngstown for Mary C. Sandquist, 100 who passed away Thursday morning.
Mrs. Sandquist was born March 5, 1905 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of Anton and Anna Morgan Heitz.
She was employed as a Secretary for Chas. Shutrump and Sons, retiring in 1986 after 49 years of service. She was a member of St. Dominic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society and Infant Jesus of Prague Guild.
Her husband, Venner E. Sandquist, passed away in 1972.
She leaves a son, William J. Vanda Sandquist of Youngstown, 2 daughters, Bette Paul Quinlan of Silver Lake, OH. and Joan Faunda, with whom she made her home, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a grandchild. Friends may call from 2 - 5PM Sunday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Dominic Church. Condolences may be sent to higgins-reardon.com.
