"Together Again"
CANFIELD - Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Mary Louise Vadino, 88, who passed away Sunday at Clare Bridge of Austintown.
Mary was born June 20, 1925, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Angelo and Rosario "Rose" (Gioffre) Famularo.
Mary dedicated her life to her family, and enjoyed cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Holy Family Church.
Her husband, Walter F. Vadino Sr., whom she married April 19, 1947, passed away Aug. 31, 2003.
Mary leaves her two sons, Richard (Carol) Vadino of Canfield and Walter F. (Mary Pat) Vadino Jr. of Clearwater, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Kristi Vadino, Carolyn (Earl Johnson) Vadino, Richelle (Travis) Short, Paul (Laura) Brown, Gina (Matt) Vrbanic, Nicholas (Carie) Vadino, and Benjamin Vadino; three great-grandchildren, Nicole, Nicholas, and Gabriella; a sister, Rose Viano of Boardman; sister-in-law, Ellen Famularo of Boardman; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was also preceded in death by two sisters, Angie Famularo and Nancy Nolfi; and two brothers, Thomas Famularo and Joe Famularo.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Mary's family would like to give a special thanks to her extended family at Clare Bridge of Austintown for all of their care.
