Youngstown- A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10AM Saturday at St. Christine Church and prayers offered at 9:15AM in the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Mary A. Weitzman, age 90, of Boardman, who died suddenly Tuesday morning at her home.
Mary was born September 12, 1917 in Sharpsburg, PA to the late Valentine and Josephine Wos Kula.
She attended St. Christine Church
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Weitzman who died July 17, 1983; her only son, Samuel James Weitzman who died December 18, 2006, this was her greatest loss; a grandson Bryan Weitzman, sisters, Helen Cangi, Josephine Kula, and Nellie Kula, and brother, John Kula.
She is survived by her daughter, Delores Weitzman of Boardman, four grandchildren, James Weitzman of Cleveland, Jolynn Burt of Chillicothe, Brittany Weitzman of Cleveland, and William Weitzman of Cleveland. Four great grandchildren, James Weitzman, Jr. of Cleveland, Rachael and Ryan Burt of Chillicothe, and Ella Weitzman of Cleveland; and a nephew Richard Cangi.
Friends may call Friday 5-7PM at the funeral home.
