CANFIELD - Services will be Saturday at noon at the Old North Church in Canfield for Mary A. Youssef, 82, who died Tuesday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mary was born Aug. 25, 1930, in Cairo, Egypt, the daughter of Aziz and Monira Girgis.
She had traveled from America to Egypt frequently for the past 40 years before making her home here.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Shadia Youssef of Canfield; three sons, Dr. Adel I. Youssef, M.D. of Canfield, Atef I. Vivianne Youssef of Canfield, and Dr. Sameth I. Youssef, M.D. of Canfield; a brother, Farid Girgis of Canfield; two sisters, Effa Maker and Aida Thomas, both of California; and six grandchildren, Christie, Melissa, Karim, Sara, David, and Sandra Youssef.
Besides her husband, Ibrahim Youssef, who died Sept. 8, 1990, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Koukab Hanna; and a brother, Fayk Girgis.
At the request of the family, there are no calling hours.
Professional arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
