NEW MIDDLETOWN - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, for Maryann Roth, 59, who passed away Tuesday evening at her home at 4146 E. Calla Road, with her family and her cat, Angel, by her side.
Maryann was born March 31, 1952, in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Olga Nosik Kachmar.
Maryann graduated from Mohawk High School in 1970 and also worked in their cafeteria. She was a member of the Churchhill United Methodist Church. She loved shopping, her cat, Angel, and being a housewife.
Maryann leaves her daughter, Samantha Colucci of Bessemer, Pa.; three sisters, Nadine Gerald Gennaro of Bessemer, Irene William Benedict of Bessemer and Diana Norman Smith of New Middletown; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Maryann was also preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Colucci, whom she married July 31, 1971, and passed away July 19, 1994; her second husband, Jerry Roth, whom she married in March of 2003 and passed away in January of 2007; a sister, Jeanette Double; and a niece, Wendy Double.
Family and friends may call Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
