BOARDMAN - Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Heritage Presbyterian Church for Maxine E. Brown, 92, who died Saturday morning at Beeghley Oaks.
Maxine was born June 26, 1918, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Christian and Anne Landals Glaeser, and was a life long area resident.
She worked in the Sales and Credit office of the former G.M. McKelvey Department Store for 25 years before retiring in 1978.
She was a former member of the Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon and was a member of the Martha Circle and Sewing Circle. She was currently a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Paul E., whom she married June 15, 1936, died April 14, 1991.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Ruth Brown of San Diego, and Christy Dottie Joseph Brown of Boardman; sister-in-law Barbara Glaeser of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
The family requests that material tributes to the Memorial Fund at the church, or to Hospice of the Valley.
