POLAND Prayers will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church for Michael A. Eperjesi, 55, who passed away Tuesday evening at Hospice House.
Michael was born June 13, 1957, in Youngstown, a son of the late John S. and
Margaret R. Pasuth Eperjesi.
Michael was a 1975 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. He was a plant manager for Northern States Metals.
He was an avid Steelers fan. Michael enjoyed cars, gardening and wood working. Most of all, he loved to travel, taking several trips to Hawaii and numerous trips to his condo in
Myrtle Beach, S.C. Michael also enjoyed attending his daughter, Melissa's, sporting events and was extremely proud of her academic accomplishments as well as her success on the Cardinal Mooney Speech Team.
Michael leaves his wife, the former Linda S. Trimble, whom he married on June 13, 1987; his daughter, Melissa Eperjesi, at home; and his brother, John E. Doreen Eperjesi of Poland.
Michael was also preceded in death by his sister, Rita A. Eperjesi.
Family and friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice House.
Burial will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
