AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Thursday morning at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Michael A. Infante, Jr. age 64 of Columbia, Maryland, formerly of Youngstown who passed away Sunday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Michael was born September 9, 1941, in Youngstown, the son of Michael and Fannie Felice Infante.
Michael was a 1960 graduate of Fitch High, and attended Youngstown State University. A Vietnam veteran Michael served as a Chaplain Assistant in the Army. He was currently working as the business manager for the University of Maryland Medical Systems. He was a former member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, was an avid golfer, and fisherman, and had a passion for cars.
He is survived by his adoring family, his wife the former Annette Haas whom he married July 3, 1965, two sons Michael Paul Teresa Infante of Spartinburg, SC, and Christopher Richard Infante of Charlotte, NC, two brothers, Donald R. Norma Jean Infante, of Clearwater Beach, FLA., and Bill R. Infante of Palm Desert, California, nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Elsie Haas, and sister and brother in law Sandra, and Michael Blacker.
He was preceded in death by his father Michael, and his mother, Fannie with whom he shared a special relationship.
