Michael A. Rossi, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away at his home on March 15, 2024.
He was born in Youngstown to Victoria and the late Mark Rossi on April 21, 1974.
He was a proud 1992 graduate of Canfield High School and later pursued his interest in marketing, earning a bachelor's degree from YSU. He worked for Allied-Gator, Inc. as the Manager of Parts and Purchasing and Home Depot in Boardman,.
Outside of his work life, Michael immersed himself in a range of hobbies that truly brought him joy. Whether it was his passion for music, movies, and pop culture, his unwavering support for the Pittsburgh Steelers, or his love for playing the guitar with his brother and friends, he poured his heart into everything he did.
But what truly lit up Michael's life was his children, Olivia and Matt. He was incredibly proud of them and took great pleasure in sharing his interests with them. As a devoted parent and uncle to YSU students, he relished tailgating and showing his support for them at every halftime performance.
Family and friends will fondly remember Michael at the grill, surrounded by his favorite tunes, hosting backyard barbecues—often sporting his trademark Superman shirt, a true reflection of his fun-loving family man personality.
Michael's creative spirit and warm presence touched the lives of many. His legacy will continue to live on through the memories he created with his loved ones.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Lisa M. Furlong Rossi, whom he married on April 26, 2003; loving children Olivia Rossi and Matthew Rossi; devoted mother, Victoria Rossi of Youngstown; caring siblings, Tracy (Robert) Drummond of Cincinnati, Sarah (Robert) Durham of Cleveland and Nicholas (Jessica) Rossi of Youngstown; as well as his in-laws, Joseph and Karen Furlong of Austintown; sister-in-law, Michele Rossi of Lordstown; nieces; nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
