Michael Wright

CANFIELD - Funeral services will be held Sunday at 5 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, for Michael J. "Mick" Wright, 50, who passed away in his sleep Thursday morning at his home.

Mick was born April 2, 1965, in Youngstown, a son of Atty. James and Myra (Flynn) Wright.
Mick was a 1983 graduate of Columbiana High School, where he was a member of the golf team for 4 years and went to State 3 of those years. He received an Associate's degree in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron. Mick was a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for Citizens Bank. He was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing and was a passionate cook. Mick was a devoted and hardworking father, caregiver to his parents, and the best brother. He was a true friend with a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.

Mick leaves his parents of Canfield; a daughter, Mackenzie Wright of Canfield; a son, Ian Wright of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Mary Wright and Jenny Wright both of Canfield; a nephew, Alec Wright Falkner of Davis, Calif.; an aunt, Mary Jane Weber of Boardman; and he was also blessed with many loving cousins.

Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to any charity of the donor's choice.
