BOARDMAN ? Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Mildred A. ?Millie? Gilboy, 91, who passed away Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center Boardman Campus.
Millie was born June 9, 1919, in Youngstown, the daughter of Martin and Mary Jennings Gilboy.
Millie graduated from South High School in January of 1938.
She worked in sales at Higbee?s and McKelveys for 35 years, retiring in 1984.
She attended St. Nicholas Church and was a former member of St. Matthias Church.
Millie was a member of AARP National and Local Ladies Club. She was an avid bingo player and traveler.
Millie leaves her cousins, Barbara Miller of Struthers and her five children, Tim Miller of Struthers, Pat Mickey Miller of Pittsburgh, Terry Jane Miller of Virginia, Brian Sue Miller of Poland, and Nancy Miller of Cuyahoga Falls; and Annabell Miller of Youngstown and her three children.
Millie was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes C. Gilboy; and cousins, Ted, Paul and Bill Miller and Lulu Mussler.
Friends and family may call Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
