AUSTINTOWN - A Masonic service will be held Sunday at 12:45 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Mitchell P. Strange, 55, who passed away early Wednesday morning at Northside Medical Center.
Mitchell was born May 23, 1958, in Youngstown, a son of Donald R. and Myrna (Leach) Strange.
Mitchell was a 1976 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He was a mechanic with Tamarkin Company. He was a member of the Sulgrave Lodge No. 969, the Youngstown Maennerchor Club, Trumbull County Gun Club and the A.B.A.T.E. of Ohio. He also loved riding his motorcycles.
Mitchell leaves his mother, Myrna Strange of Austintown; a daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Truex of Ravenna; a son, Jacob (Kim) Strange of Richlands, N.C.; five grandchildren, Nolan, Norah, Neena, Nash, and Donald; a brother, Michael Strange of Poland; a niece, Kayla Strange of Youngstown; and a nephew, Michael Strange of Youngstown.
Mitchell was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Timothy Don Strange.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
