Myrna Strange

AUSTINTOWN - Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Myrna M. Strange, 80, who passed away Saturday morning at her home.

Myrna was born May 17, 1935, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Myrna A. (Waller) Leach.

Myrna graduated from The Rayen School. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and their Altar Guild. She was also a member of the Marine Corp. League, a long-time member of the Saxon Club, and was a Cub Scout Leader.

Her greatest love was for her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Donald R. Strange, whom she married May 25, 1957, passed away March 31, 2010.

Myrna leaves her son, Michael D. (Kathleen Esarco) Strange of Poland; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Truex, Jake R. (Kim) Strange, Mikey Strange, and Kayla Strange; and six great-grandchildren, Nolan, Norah, Neena, Nash, Donald, and Jack.

Myrna was also preceded in death by two sons, Timothy D. and Mitchell P. Strange; a sister, Margaret Holovatick; and three brothers, Robert, Richard, and David Leach.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
