Mr. Wem was born May 9, 1930 in Youngstown the son of Myron and Nellie Samanski Wem.
He was employed as a brakeman at Youngstown Sheet and Tube, retiring after many years of service. He served his country during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army.
He leaves his wife, the former Donna L. Hilbert, whom he married in March of 1954, 4 sons, Myron Rhonda Wem III of Struthers, Larry Cindi Wem of Salem, Marc Wem of Austintown, and Jeffrey Kim Adams Wem of Youngstown, 2 daughters, Jill Gene Modarelli of Austintown and Judy John Crump of Berlin Center, a brother, Robert Doris Wem of Arizona, a sister, Laverne DelFratte of Austintown, and 12 grandchildren, Myron IV, Jason, and Ashley Wem, Dominic and Natalie Modarelli, Laura and Larry Wem, Dallas Hahn, Marc Anthony Wem, Dylan and Ed Crump, and Bob Nutt.
Arrangements were handled by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
