AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will be held on Monday at 12:15 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Angela Merici Parish formerly Sacred Heart Church, 400 Lincoln Park Drive in Youngstown, for Nancy A. Ferry, 74, who passed away Thursday morning at Hospice House.
Nancy was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Troy and Dorothy Flynn Cromer.
Nancy worked in Dietary and Housekeeping at Southside and Northside Hospitals for 29 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed bingo, going to Geneva-on-the-Lake and playing cards and slots at Mountaineer.
Her husband, Richard L. Ferry Sr., whom she married July 9, 1960, passed away Aug. 9, 1977.
Nancy leaves her daughter, Dorothy E. Robert Fisher, with whom she made her home in Austintown; her two sons, Richard L. Candace Ferry Jr. and William R. Ferry, both of Austintown; a brother, Donald T. Cromer of Newberry, S.C.; two grandchildren, Lauren M. Ferry and Richard L. Ferry III; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
