BOARDMAN - Nancy A. (Zenn) DiLisio, 77, died July 5, 2024, at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 14, 1947, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late James and Adele (David) Zenn.
Nancy's journey began at Cardinal Mooney High School, where she proudly graduated before embarking on a dedicated career at the Debartolo Corporation straight out of high school. As life unfolded, she lovingly raised her family with steadfast devotion before finding joy in roles at Sparkle Market's Bakery and The Moonraker Restaurant. Her vibrant spirit radiated through every moment spent with her cherished family, especially her beloved grandchildren Owen, Ethan, and Talia, whom she adored beyond words. Nancy's greatest happiness was supporting her children and delighting in their milestones, whether at sporting events or dance recitals.
She took immense pride in her Lebanese heritage, crafting delicious grape leaves and lamb with rice dressing that reflected her rich cultural roots. Known for her "Lebanese fire," Nancy possessed a spirited and occasionally feisty demeanor that added a special spark to her vibrant personality and loving nature.
Nancy poured her heart and soul into nurturing her grandchildren Owen, Ethan, and Talia, imparting not just values, morals, and lessons, but a profound sense of love and wisdom that will forever shape their lives. Her heart overflowed with pride during family trips to Geneva, lively pool parties at home, and the warmth of holiday gatherings. Nancy found comfort and endless joy in the company of Lexie, her faithful Shih Tzu, and shared nearly two decades of unwavering love with John Petrusovich, her devoted partner in life.
Those fortunate enough to know Nancy will forever cherish her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering love. Her legacy of kindness and dedication lives on through her loving children, Danitra (Joe) Scarsella and Gary (Ashley) DiLisio; grandchildren Owen and Ethan DiLisio, and Talia Scarsella; and her sisters Donna (Rich) Klema and Louise (Ernie) Ramhoff. The world is dimmer without her light, yet her spirit remains eternally in our hearts.
