"Together Again"
POLAND - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John's Orthodox Church in Campbell for Olga Zelina, 88, who passed away Saturday at her home.
Olga was born Sept. 7, 1924, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Simon and Anna Kucheruk.
Olga was a 1943 graduate of South High School, and she worked as a teller for Farmers National Bank in Cornersburg. She was a member of St. John's Orthodox Church, their Adult Study Group and their St. John's Sisterhood.
Her husband, John Zelina, whom she married June 5, 1948, passed away Jan. 8, 2012.
Olga leaves her four daughters, Barbara (John) Matusiak of Glen Ellyn, Ill., Debbie (Ramiro) Albarran of North Venice, Fla., Laura (Ron) Strollo of Columbus, and Maureen (John) Koval of Poland; eight grandchildren, Joseph (Nina) Matusiak, Juliana Meng, Anthony Albarran, Lisa and Bryan Strollo, and John, David and Kevin Koval; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Laura (Glen) Zinz of Canfield; a brother-in-law, Ed Vasilchek of Struthers; and several nieces and nephews.
Olga was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Paskey and Nettie Kucheruk.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. John's Orthodox Church, 305 Struthers-Liberty Road in Campbell, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. and also Wednesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers material tributes may take the form of donations to St. John's Orthodox Church.
Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel.
