Youngstown...Services will held Monday at 10:00AM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Oliver J. "Duke" Danko, 67 who passed away Wednesday.
Mr. Danko was born August 13, 1937 in Youngstown the son of Ollie and Ann Markovich Danko.
Mr. Danko was employed with Kinray Industries of Youngstown as a Highlift Operator and Manager for 36 years, retiring in 1996. He was an avid bowler of 20 years, enjoyed vacationing in North Carolina yearly with his wife of 47 years, fishing, motorcyucle riding, and was a Moose Lodge Member. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
His wife, the former Geraldine Mae Hartman, whom he married May 10, 1958, passed away September 25, 2000.
He leaves his children, James Susan Danko of Leetonia, Deborah Kenny Campbell of Youngstown, Sherri Danko, at home, Kathy Mike Hogan of Boardman, Wendy Danko of Berlin Center, and Toni Nick Pachell of Austintown, 2 sisters, Marie Richard Leach of Austintown and Judy Ron Helsel of Youngstown, 10 grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony, a brother, Dennis, and a sister, Delores Parker Pennington.
