CANFIELD A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at noon at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church in Boardman for Patricia Carlomagno, 85, who passed away Friday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Patricia was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of Albert and Marietta Carosella LaCivita
Patricia was a graduate of East High School and received a bachelor¹s degree in Education from Youngstown State University. Her passion was for teaching. She was a 3rd grade teacher at St. Christine School for 25 years, retiring in 1989. Patricia would volunteer her time tutoring children in the summer. She was a member of St. Michael Church and she enjoyed traveling and was an excellent cook.
The love of her life, Joseph Henry Carlomagno, whom she married Dec. of 1943, passed away May of 1990.
Patricia was a dedicated mother to her daughter, Patricia Ralph Moretti and her son, Joseph Carlomagno, both of Canfield. She also leaves a sister, Ann Marie DiPasqua; many nieces and nephews; and her Goddaughter, Margaret Nigro.
Besides her parents and her husband, Patricia was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Petrich and Margaret Grace Fata and four brothers, Angelo, Ralph, Lawrence, and Louis LaCivita.
The family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church.
