Patricia Davis

NEW MIDDLETOWN - Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the New Springfield Church of God for Patricia K. Davis, 81, who passed away Sunday afternoon at Hospice House with her family by her side.

Patricia was born May 3, 1932, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Fred and Sarah (O'Neill) King.

Patricia was a graduate of Wilkinsburg High School. She worked 23 years as secretary of the New Middletown Free Methodist Church, retiring in 1996. She was a former member of the Free Methodist Church, where she served as Sunday School secretary and President of the Women's Missionary Group. Most recently, she was a member of the New Springfield Church of God. Patricia was also past President of the Altrusa International Club of Youngstown.

Her husband, Arthur H. Davis, whom she married May 17, 1952, passed away Sept. 12, 2006.
Patricia leaves her children, Mary Elizabeth Davis, John (Diane) Davis, and Ruth (Bill) Riley; grandchildren, John (Kalyn) Davis, Carrie Davis, Ashley Davis, Megan Riley and Ally Riley; and great-grandchildren, Hampton and Hannah.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, William, Sarah, Ken, Ray, Edith and Robert.
Family and friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. all at the New Springfield Church of God.

Patricia's family would like to thank the caregivers at Windsor Estates Assisted Living and the staff at Hospice House for the care and compassion shown to her.

Material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, The Public Library of Mahoning County - Springfield Library (PLYMC-Springfield), or the New Springfield Church of God Building Fund.
