STRUTHERS — We celebrate the life of Patricia Ann Crittenden Naples, whom Jesus called home on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020.
Born April 24, 1937, in Struthers, Pat was the daughter of the late Lester and Esther Blakeslee Crittenden.
Pat attended Struthers High School, where she played saxophone, was head majorette, and was voted “Best Dressed” by her classmates before graduating and marrying her high school sweetheart, Phillip R. Naples, Jr., in 1955. She later attended cosmetology school with her sister, Betty and enjoyed performing secretarial duties at a family friend’s window manufacturing company while raising her family in Struthers.
Pat loved spending summers in lakeside campgrounds, where she relished the time with family and friends, participating in card games, Bingo, campfires, hall dances, potluck dinners, Christmas in July and watching her children swim in the lakes and play on hayrides. Pat lived a lifetime of giving from the heart. Her greatest gift to the world was her love and compassion for others and she touched so many hearts.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Phillip R. Naples Jr. of Struthers; son, Rick (Pattie) Naples of Struthers; grandchildren, Angela (Darrell) Naples, Kristi Naples, Jessica (Matt) Naples Anderson and April (Donie) Dellamorte; great-grandchildren, Hope, Breeanna, Derek, Dylan and Araya; seven nephews and two nieces; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis (Dar) Naples.
Pat was also preceded in death by her sons, Philip “Tingo” Naples and Randon “Randy” Naples; brothers, Hank “Henry” (Carol) and Claude “Dutch” (Alma) Crittenden; and a sister, Betty (Frank) Brownlee.
