YOUNGSTOWN- Prayers will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Church for Patricia "Patti" J. Ramsey, 76, who passed away on Monday at St. Elizabeth's Boardman.
Pattie was born on Sept. 16, 1936, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Evelyn Mahan Eichenberger.
She was a 1954 graduate of Boardman High School and a 1957 nursing graduate of Mercy Hospital in Canton.
Patricia started her career as a registered nurse at the office of Dr. Henry Shorr. She later spent 11 years in the labor and delivery department at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Patti also worked for Dr. B. Patrick Brucoli and most recently at Dr. Raymond Bernat.
She is survived by three sons, Charles J. Mary Ann of Boardman, Jeffrey S. of Phoenix and Mark W. Lori of Poland; a brother, C. William Karen Eichenberger of Liberty; five grandchildren, Chuck, Megan, Mark, Ashley and Matthew Ramsey.
Patti was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" J.; her parents; and an infant daughter.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
