BERLIN CENTER - Patricia D. Schleyhahn, 81, formerly of Springfield, Ill., died Friday, July 15, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Schleyhahn was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Springfield, the daughter of Julio and Goldie (Dragoo) Baldoni, and came to the Youngstown area in March of 2015.
Patricia was a loving wife and mother her entire life. She was known for her kind heart and willingness to help anyone who needed it.
She was a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary and a card club. She enjoyed bowling, shuffle board, and most importantly, spending time with her large family.
Patricia's husband of almost 46 years, Robert H. Schleyhahn, whom she married on Aug. 12, 1950, died on Feb. 25, 1996.
Patricia leaves behind her two daughters, Kathy (Joe) Biroschak, with whom she made her home in Berlin Center, and Patricia Sommers of Glenarm, Ill.; son Robert R. Schleyhahn of Springfield; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Julio and Goldie, and husband Robert, Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon L. Nudo.
Inurnment will take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, where she will be laid to eternal rest next to her husband.
