Patricia Vuletich

She was born April 12, 1953, in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas M. and Ann Ference Vuletich.

Patricia had an unwavering passion for the written word. She embarked on her educational journey at Youngstown State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, the first person in her immediate family to do so. Following her academic achievements, Patricia joined the Youngstown Vindicator as a copy editor, where she won multiple awards for her creative headlines.

Patricia loved the ocean and made frequent visits to Clearwater Beach. Here at home she was an avid fisherman and loved to take walks at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Pamela Brady of Youngstown; her nephew, Christopher Brady (Tricia) of Youngstown; and a long list of family members and friends who will all miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Rex Miller, the love of her life.

Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave. Prayers will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at the funeral home, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church.
