YOUNGSTOWN-Services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church for Patrick M. Chrystal II age 29 who passed away early Saturday morning from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Patrick was born February 17, 1978 in Youngstown, the son of Patrick M. and Sandra McGarry Chrystal.
He had been the owner and chef entrapeneaur of Patricks Chop House in Elkton. He was a 1996 graduate of Canfield High School and later earned Bachelors Degrees in Hospitality and Event Management, and Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wahles University in Providence Rhode Island. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and loved golfing and fishing. He had a great passion for cooking but the greatest joy of his life was spending time with his daughter and nephew.
Patrick is survived by his parents Pat and Sandra Chrystal of Youngstown, his daughter Mackenzie Grace Chrystal, his sister and best friend Shawn M. Chrystal and her husband Mark Griffith of Liberty, his grandmother Helen McGarry of Youngstown, his nephew Keighan Griffith, and numerous aunts, uncles, and neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a niece Ryleigh Griffith, and grandparents John McGarry, and Robert and Ann Chrystal.
Friends may call from 2 PM to 8 PM Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
In memory of Patrick's love for children the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
