CANFIELD - A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Church in Canfield, for Paul E. "Shadow" Binashesky, 83, who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at Shepherd of the Valley in Poland.
Paul was born on Dec. 17, 1934, in Duquesne, Pa., a son of the late Paul and Balvina (Svetlak) Binashesky.
Paul was a 1952 graduate of Duquesne High School, and he went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University. He worked for U.S. Steel for more than 34 years, earning himself a promotion to plant manager at Gladwin Industries in Michigan City, Ind.
After retirement, he accepted a position as Director of Operations at Bliss-Salem; however, his last two years of working were spent with Mack Door in North Jackson.
In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing and reading.
Paul leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 59 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Palyo) Binashesky, whom he married on April 19, 1958; a daughter, Margaret Ann Markanich; grandchildren Jeffrey M. Markanich and Danielle Markanich; and a sister, Margie Nuno.
Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula E. Treece; and a sister, Mary Jane Rotuno.
Family and friends may call an hour prior to services on Tuesday, from 10 to 11 a.m., at St. Michael's Church 300 N. Broad St. in Canfield.
Care was entrusted to Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel.
