AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will begin Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Paul J. Colucci, 86, who died Thursday at St. Charles, Ill.
Paul was born Feb. 13, 1925, in Youngstown, the son of Ralph and Rose Izzo Colucci.
He had worked at the U.S. Steel Corporation as a licensed stationary engineer for 34 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW.
His wife, the former Mary A. Capots, whom he married June 10, 1943, died June 29, 2002.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol John Miller of Bartlett, Ill.; a granddaughter, Carol L. Murphy; and two great-grandchildren, Marc and Morgan Malanca.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
