AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church for Paul T. DeVito, 60, who passed away early Wednesday morning at Hospice House.
Paul was born Sept. 6, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Carmel (Constantino) DeVito.
Paul was a 1971 graduate of Ursuline High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Paul was a project manager for Toshiba America.
He was active with Austintown Community Baseball and enjoyed exercising. He also enjoyed going on vacations to the beach and to Italy. His greatest love was for his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was not only known as "Papa" to his grandchildren but also to many other children.
Paul leaves his wife, the former Sue Ellen Chamberlain, whom he married Aug. 9, 1975; his daughter, Lisa (Rick) John of Austintown; his son, Chris (Brooke) DeVito of Streetsboro; his five grandchildren, Nathan, Melina and Ainsley John, and Cameron and Kendall DeVito; and his dog, Sergio.
Family and friends may pay their respects Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church.
Entombment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
