CANFIELD - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, for Mr. Paul H. Holcomb, 70, who died Thursday at Hospice House.
Mr. Holcomb was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Youngstown, a son of William and Martha Hughes Holcomb.
He was a Rayen High School graduate and had worked at GM Motors-Lordstown as a forklift operator, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the UAW 1112, the Mahoning Valley Knife Club Association and loved to build model airplanes and trains, but his greatest joy was his family.
Paul leaves his wife, the former Sally A. Maguire, whom he married Nov. 16, 1957; one daughter, Renee R. Brian Altiero of Youngstown; three sons, Dale W. Donna Holcomb of Parkman, Duane H. Brenda Holcomb of Wooster and Dr. Paul H. Nancy Holcomb Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one sister, Cheryl James Updegraff of Youngstown; two brothers, Ted Beth Holcomb of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Bill Judy of Struthers; and nine grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Matthew, Tabitha, Travis, Alanna, Ethan, Eliza and Ira Holcomb.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jackie McCutheon; and his brother, Tom Holcomb.
Friends may call today from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday.
