AUSTINTOWN - A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019, at 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Paul J. King, who died Wednesday morning, at his residence.
Paul was born Dec. 5, 1943, in Salem, a son of Paul H. and Wilma (McNeal) King.
He was a graduate of West Branch High School and worked for the Press of Ohio. He later worked for Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church as the Head of Maintenance and Custodian for 12 years.
Paul’s favorite hobbies included trips to the casino, doing yard work and fishing. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed drag racing in his younger years.
His wife, Rosemarie (Mancinelli) King, whom he married June 24, 1973, preceded him in death on Nov. 30, 2018.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Cara (Andrew) Krofta; his sister, Nancy McClain; his grandchildren, Brenden King, Gavin King, Mileena Krofta, and Alexia Krofta; and his nephew, Shane Bortner.
Paul was also preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tracy Ann; his son, Brian P. King; and his sister, Judy Bortner.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 24, from 5 to 6 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
