Paul Wilkens

STRUTHERS - A prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church, Struthers, for Paul B. Wilkens, 55, who died Friday at his home.

Paul was born Sept. 28, 1960, a son of Bernard and Suzanne (Jones) Wilkens.

He had worked for RMI in Hermitage, Pa., as a laborer for 20 years. Paul was a 1979 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, a member of the church and his greatest passion was NASCAR.

He married his wife, Denise (Barton), on April 11, 1987.

Paul leaves his parents, Bernie and Sue Wilkens of Poland; his wife, Denise; his daughter, Ashley; his three sisters, Stephanie (Rick) Carano of Poland, Mimi (Bill) Mitchell of Stow and Allison (Craig) Cline of Stow; his sister-in-law, Margaret (John) Puhalla of Boardman; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
