Youngstown - There will be services Friday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church for Paul G. Yatsco Sr., age 77, who passed away Monday morning at Grady Memorial in Deleware, Ohio.
Paul was born on June 18, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of Michael and Mary Susor Danko Yatsco.
Paul was a 1946 graduate of Chaney High School. Paul served in Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Republic Steel/LTD for 37 years, retiring in 1982. Paul was a member of the bowling league at Wedgewood Lanes. He was also a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church.
His wife the former Mary Nora Perruzzi whom he married May 14, 1955 died May 31, 1998.
Paul is survived by two sons Paul G.Yatsco Jr. of Youngstown and David Yatsco of Deleware, Ohio; two sisters Elizabeth Chester Sudol of Austintown and Josephine Giba of Youngstown; and two grandchildren Michael and Melissa Yatsco.
Besides his parents and wife, Paul is preceded in death by six sisters Helen Birochak, Margaret Greenfield, Emma Liptak, Sue Strojny, Wilma Scherl, and Anne Sailor; and five brothers George, Joseph, Michael, Carl, and Rev. Andrew Yatsco SJ.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
