A prayer service will be held at noon on Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Mrs Pauline D. Perry, who died Thursday morning at Liberty Health Center.

She was born June 8, 1924, in Youngstown, a daughter of Anthony and Mary Basile Sammarone.

Pauline graduated from The Rayen School and Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She was a life member of St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing, had worked at St. Elizabeth Health Center, then worked as a Private Duty Nurse and taught in Parochial Schools and Youngstown City Schools. Pauline was a member of the YSU Alumni Association, life member of the Mahoning and Ohio Retired Teachers Association, and a member of the church and its Altar and Rosary Society and the Senior Citizens group.

She leaves her husband, James J. Perry, whom she married Oct. 19, 1946; a daughter, Sandra Robert Webber of Liberty Township; two sisters, Louise Williams of Akron and Clara Karabin of Austintown; two brothers, Chuck MaryAnn Sammarone of Youngstown and Frank Vicky Sammarone of Poland; and a grandson, Rob J. Webber.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Carmel Sainato, Marion Sammarone and Rose Fabek; and one brother, Anthony Sammarone.

Friends may call today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
