YOUNGSTOWN - Pauline Severino, 101, died Wednesday afternoon, March 20,
2019, at The Inn at Christine Valley in Youngstown.
She was born Sept. 10, 1917, in Youngstown, a daughter of Louis Orlando and
Giovanina (Fabrizio) Orlando.
Pauline was a homemaker and an excellent Italian cook. She was a very active
member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where she was involved in the
Mother¹s of Crucifix Society and the Legion of Mary Auxiliary. She loved
playing bingo with friends at the Inn at Christine Valley.
Her husband, Dominic Severino, whom she married Dec. 27, 1941, preceded her
in death on March 25, 1993.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Elaine) Severino; her granddaughter,
Julia Severino; and two great-grandsons, Anthony and Nickolas Severino.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her
four sisters, Lucy Madeline, Hazel Livermore, Mary Pavlacic, and
Ann Bohecker; and three brothers, Anthony P. Orlando, John Orlando and Louis
Orlando.
A private funeral service was held on Friday, March 22, 2019, at
the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Inn at Christine Valley for
their care and compassion given to Pauline.
