BOARDMAN There will be services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, for Pauline M. Weimer, 89, who
passed away Monday afternoon at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. Weimer was born May 23, 1917 in Youngstown, the daughter of Stewart and Emma Engster Ritter, and was a lifelong area resident.
She attended The Rayen School, was a homemaker and also a member of the Austintown Community Church.
Pauline¹s mother died shortly after her birth and she was raised by her stepmother, Susan Duffy Ritter.
Her husband, William Weimer, whom she married Jan. 27, 1937, died April, 21 2004.
She leaves a daughter, Shirley Bob Beckwith of Austintown; a son, William Lillian Weimer of Youngstown; three sisters, Gladys Bucsar of Boardman, Helen Ted Nogay of Hermitage, Pa., and Dorothy Fox of Youngstown; a brother, William Louise Ritter of Canfield; four grandchildren, Robert Rosemary Beckwith of Austintown, Lori Acevedo of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Dr. David Shannon Weimer of Detroit and Dr. Daniel Georga Weimer of San Antonio, Texas; and five great-grandchildren, Paul and Kyle Acevedo, Bobby Beckwith and Luke and Grace Weimer. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas and Paul Ritter.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
