, Fla- Services will be 5PM Sunday in the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, celebrated by Rev. Burl Jernigan, for Pearl B. Herr, age 92, of Panama City, Florida, formerly of Youngstown, who died August 4, 2008 at the Community Health and Rehab Center in Panama City.
Mrs. Herr was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on November 6, 1915 to the late Harvey and Maude Mae Newkirk Barger.
She was a 1936 graduate from South High School. a member of Calvary Baptist Church. she enjoyed bowling, knitting, cross stitch, and bingo.
besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jack A. Herr, who died in July 1985, her brothers, Bill Barger and Ray Barger; and sisters, Isabel Johnson, Beverly Rees, and Viola Miller.
She leaves her daughter, Linda L.Dean Nichols of Estero, Fl., two sons, Kevin T. Carin Herr of Palatka, FL., and Travis A. Yvette Herr of Marianna, FL., six grandchildren, Joseph Costello, John Costello, and James Costello, John Herr, Bryan Herr, and Heather Herr. 21 great grandchildren.
Friends May call on Sunday one hour prior to the service 4-5PM
Burial will be privately in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Calvary Baptist Church.
