Austintown - There will be Monday services 11AM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home for Perry Kimmel Jr., 88, who passed away Monday morning at the Hospice House.
Perry was born October 2, 1918, in Austintown, a son of Perry Royce and Goldie Lawrence Kimmel Sr.
Perry was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He served in the Air Force as a flight instructor. He was a self employed carpenter for most of his life.
His wife the former Mae Thomas whom he married May 15, 1943 passed away January 22, 1992.
Perry leaves three daughters Jackie L. Tom Miller of Austintown, Sharyn A. Ken Aldridge of Katy, TX., and Terri L. Walter Sheely of North Jackson; a son Perry R. Pat Kimmel III of Canfield; three sisters Ruth Purnell of Canfield, Mary Ray Penney of Canfield, and Virginia Arnold De Walk of Hubbard; a brother Earl "Jim" Helen Kimmel of North Jackson; four grandchildren Kelly Tobin, Karen Miller, Perry Kimmel IV and Summer Sheely; and four great grandchildren.
Perry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers Roy Kimmel and Merle "Mike" Kimmel.
Family and friends may call Wedesday from 6 to 8 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
Material tributes may take the form of donation to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512.
